Galaxies come in all shapes and sizes, and hidden in the very distant Universe lurk the biggest and most extreme of them all. Come along to discover the scale and beauty of these elusive monster galaxies.
Matthew is a Research Associate in the Kavli Institute for Cosmology at the University of Cambridge. His research explores galaxy evolution, star formation, and interstellar gas. He has worked at the Steward Observatory in Tucson, Arizona, and received his PhD from the University of Cambridge.
