The conference is an opportunity to update on cutting-edge biotechnology developments and research; to share practice with teachers and technicians; to focus on aspects of ABE practice and ways of enriching learning and teaching.
The programme includes:
Key notes from scientists at the Wellcome Genome Campus about their research and recent, cutting-edge biotechnology developments.
Workshops including: careers in genomics; teaching and learning approaches and resources; ethics discussion workshop; and campus and lab tours.

Who is the conference for?
School and college teachers and technicians on the Amgen programme. It is also open to people not on the Amgen programme – anyone interested in cutting-edge genomics and who may want to join the Amgen programme.
