Who is this for?
This is for anyone who wants to get started in public engagement, or who has done a little bit of it in the past and wants to do more. Maybe you have an idea for an Enabling fund, or maybe you just want to know what opportunities we have on Campus to get involved. This will be the place to get ideas, foster relationships and ask your first questions about public engagement.
What skills will you acquire?
Public engagement definition and scope; how to target your audience; how to plan your public-facing project; a public engagement checklist – what to think before you start.
Where will you use this?
In your first public engagement activities and projects. It can also be useful if you’re thinking to get be part of a Campus activity that involves the public, to know how to better interact and have conversations on genomics and biodata.
