Session overview

In this session, we’ll have a look at the different opportunities for engaging with schools and how the education programme works on Campus. We’ll review some tips and useful information to start adapting our message and methods to school children, taking into account restrictions of the setting and the differences in ages.

Who is this for?

This session is for anyone who wants to start engaging with schools and haven’t had a chance to do so yet, or for those of you who have done in person school engagement but would like to know how to adapt online. It’s a great opportunity to meet the Public Engagement team and to interact with peers with similar interests.

What skills will you acquire?

Some basic tools and ideas to start planning your engagement with schools.

Where will you use this?

The Wellcome Genome Campus have an extensive education programme that works with schools from all over the UK. It’s the perfect session to get started in Public Engagement if you haven’t had an opportunity yet.
