Technology has seamlessly integrated into our everyday lives in countless ways and the evolution of technology will drive society to evolve alongside them. Our speakers will showcase three distinct areas of emerging technologies: the miniaturisation of technological devices, socio-emotional robots and alternative digital finances. Lara Urban (European Bioinformatics Institute) and Maximilian Stammnitz (Wellcome Sanger Institute) will share their PuntSeq project that is using an Oxford Nanopore MinION DNA sequencer to analyse DNA from water samples collected from the River Cam.

Doors open at 6:30pm. Tickets: £4
